Carolyn Ingles has an extensive background in the arts, the public sector and community media.
As the Assistant Director of Community Services at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. She organized and managed the Community Services urban outreach music and performance programming for urban youth and adults, as well as co-producing concert programming. Ingles also free-lanced in the public relations and marketing areas for entertainment producers and venues in Boston.
After receiving her Master of Education in the Arts degree from Cambridge College, she turned toward the public sector bringing her
marketing, public relations, community relations and public education skills to the Massachusetts departments of Mental Health and Public Health. She was the Director of Public Education and Outreach at the
Department of Mental Health and the Director of Training at the Shattuck Hospital, a public health hospital. Ingles initiated media initiatives in the Human Services area, producing, directing and hosting public education cable television and radio shows
focused on mental health and public health advocacy and education. In retirement, Ingles volunteers in the arts, community advocacy and community outreach initiatives.
